Thank God for Eileen in Dr. Val’s Office
Update: The letter is apparently lost in the mail. They mailed it last Friday and I still don’t have it. Thankfully, they are very helpful and Tiff is going to help get it all fixed on Monday in Mineola. Yea for Tiff!!
I can’t believe it. I actually found someone that is willing to go one extra step to help us out, and it’s out of the goodness of her heart!!
I need a letter from my doc for a procedure I had last month. Sounds easy, right? Well, it’s not. They have to be very specific in what they say and it has to be notarized. So, I call the office last week, fax over the sample letter and a note stating what needs to be said and specifically asking that I be contacted when the letter is ready, so I can arrange for a traveling notary to visit to go to the office and witness the signature.
I get a call today that the doctor dictated the letter and it’s typed. Since the doc is only in the Syosset office on Wednesday (and today is Wednesday), the nurse tells me that she’s going to send the letter with the doctor to her Mineola office. They have a notary in the building behind them and one in the pharmacy on the corner. So, they will take care of getting the letter notarized and they’ll mail it to me. I almost passed out. I said, “So, do I have to call the notary and make the arrangements?” She said, no, they would take care of everything. Then I think I did pass out.
Wow!!! That’s a first. We can’t even get a human being on the phone at Tom’s doctor!! I’m loving the people at Dr. Val’s office. They are tops in my book!!

I have to say, I agree - I’ve never had a problem with the people in Dr. V’s office. They’re always not only accomodating but always try to help the best they can!
