The doctor’s letter are on their way to Great Wall. The CIS packet for our fingerprint appointment is on it’s way to the NYC Immigration Office.
Now, we just have to finish our Hague required online courses (5 1/2 hours done out of 10), then get the home study from the social worker, review it and make sure it’s okay, send it to Great Wall so they can review it, make any changes necessary, then send it to Immigration.
We have to use a New York State licensed agency to oversee the adoption, and they have their own Hague requirements; Great Wall has their own requirements. We signed up for the online courses for Baker Victory (the NY based agency), and took a couple of them, then I started thinking…what if these courses are different than the courses Great Wall wants us to take? i was just thinking this blog is great, you get to keep eveyrone in the loop all at once and not have to go over it a million times with everyone. AND it is great your are sharing it with us all! thank you!
