Our Story So Far
When Tom and I decided to expand our family, we felt that adoption was the way to go. Right now we’re paperchasing (gathering all the required documents). It’s a pretty involved process, but I’m working hard to keep it organized.Â
Our first packet is due to the agency this week, then we have to get moving on the second. We are just about finished with the homestudy (which was less stressful than I thought it would be), and we have fingerprints next.
The most difficult thing so far has been getting the letter from one of Tom’s doctors. It’s freakin’ crazy how disorganized the office is and it’s the one thing holding up our first packet.
It’s a very long and involved process, so please be patient with us if you call us and we are a long time in calling back; we’re extremely busy.
